Max originally came to the shelter as a stray.

Max is 6 yrs young. He is on the smaller size at around 50 lbs.

He will need someone who has patience and will continue training. He is housebroken and very well behaved.

He can be dog selective and do better with females and/or submissive males. We are unsure about cats. At this time, we would not recommend cats or small animals. Max would do well with sturdy children, as he still jumps out of excitement.

Bristol is a sweet fella who is estimated 4 yrs young. He is one of the longer resident Dawgs. He is being fostered in Richmond IN, transport can be arranged for an approved adopter!

His owner had to give him up due to health concerns.

This poor boy is afraid of men. He will need very slow intros with men & dogs. Would be best with children 12+. No littles due to his size. No cats!

AZULE – NEW YEAR – NEW FRIEND DISCOUNT $75

Sweet Azule needs a retired or work at home adopter. Only furchild.

Azule is settling in, but still has some anxiety. We really need to find a nice sweet calm quiet home for her.

She is afraid of the kennel. She would do best as the only furchild and someone that could be with her and help her.

Azule is 7 years young and she’s a perfect small to medium sized dog at 43 pounds. We would not recommend her for apartment living. She would do best in a home with a 5-6’ fenced yard.

Azule LOVES everyone she meets! She loved the vet staff and gave lots of kisses even though they were poking her with needles. She loves walks, car rides and hanging out in the fenced back yard if you will stay out with her. She doesn’t like to stay out by herself very much. She has a super high prey drive for wild critters. She is also way too interested in cats. Although foster can pretty easily walk her past them in the house on a leash. Foster would not trust her with them at all.

She walks fine past fosters’ other dogs when they are in their crates. Can redirect if they bother her.

In her past home she received lots of injuries from the other dog due to this and has scars. We would recommend a home with no other pets. She is so lovable and kissy, that she can easily be your one and only!♥️

Murphy is settling in. She is utd on all vetting. We are working with her on her anxiety. She is off all medications and doing well. She just needs someone she can trust and will be disciplined with her and continue her training.

Murphy is almost 8 yrs young. Although, you would never know it. She is a catahoula/austrailian cattle dog mix (herding breed).

Murphy is doing training, as well, to help build her confidence & socialization. We could use help with those expenses. We did/are doing our part. Now it’s your turn. Gracie

Gracie is on the market. She is looking for a single level ranch style home. Can have a single person, married couple, kids, no kids, dogs, no dogs.

Her only request is her fun house must be one level

Now that I am healthy, mom is working on my public appearance skills. Went to a pet store today and would NOT walk on the floors. The whole thing made me a bit nervous.

Positives: Several people loved on me which I LOVED!!!! AND I took lots of treats from foster mom, which before in public places I would not.

I require a ranch house or little stairs, lots of love indoors (indoor dog), and someone who has had dogs before (no specific breed just dogs), and a calm house. I am great with older kids. However, a senior citizen person or couple would be a great fit too for me. I am good with respectful dogs and cats.
